Den Of Iniquity?

This 1920 building houses Street's nightclub, Envy, and is host to several of the other Deadly Sins on a Friday & Saturday night, by all accounts. When we first moved here it was the local cinema, The Maxime.

I've only entered through those portals twice: on the second occasion I was a member of a hen party (don't ask!) and was accosted by a middle-aged, and somewhat merry, lady with the greeting "you might not remember me, but you used to teach me English". It was at this point I decided it was time to leave, never to darken those doors again!

On the subject of old teachers, it was the monthly Old Git's coffee morning this morning, where I caught up with old school colleagues of my own age.
