A Quiet Country Inn

I suspect that the goings on at The Barton Inn are a little less riotous and exciting as the racy pub sign* and inverted name would like us to believe. All looked pretty sedate when I drove past on the way back from golf at lunchtime. Gloriously hot and sunny on the course today but, apart from a hot streak of 3 pars in 5 holes in the middle of the round, the golf was (literally at times) a bit hit and miss. No sign of the new resident at Beak house today, though.

* you might need to go large to get an eyeful!
