Scabious

The problem with these light evenings - welcome though they are in every other respect - is that you can all too easily go through the day without taking the camera out and then just snapping something in the garden when you get home. Which is more or less what I did today (except for a brief walk at lunchtime, wearing my council candidate hat, photographing rubbish strewn across one of the streets in my ward - an occupational hazard of Brighton life but not the stuff of which blips are made!) - a busy day in the office and no time to do much else.

But the scabious in the garden is looking rather splendid, and worth a share.
