Come inside...
the cathedral side door.
This morning I took some Year 6 children down into Rochester to work on the question
'What does Rochester have to offer Tourists?'
Armed with a small digital camera each, they were very happy and took lots of very pleasing photos (with a little guidance!) whilst I joined in with my Lumix.
We looked at the cathedral and gardens, went in through this door and took pictures inside. We then looked at the High Street's shops as attractions (the sweet shops especially) and went on to look at Dickens' 'Swiss cottage' and the little ponds near Eastgate House. (They went to the castle yesterday)
I realised what a lot of bits of Rochester I have blipped over the years and also how many more potential blips there are!
I am going to the woods with Year 4 tomorrow and back to the High Street with Year 6 again on Thursday to try to fit in the museum, visitors' centre and 'Six Poor Travellers House'.
