Cherries

I hope I don't tire of cherries. We have just picked about 15 pounds of them and have been eating them every day for the past fortnight. There are far too many to make into jam and we are off for a short break in Arles anyway so will not have time. So they have all been frozen on trays and bagged up. I suppose jam could be made at a later date or, more probably, we will use them in crumbles over the winter.
Today we had another meeting with the Mayor to negotiate the establishment of a joint management committee for the church building. All went well and the new administration seems quite positive about supporting our efforts and maintaining this piece of the village's heritage.
