The valley bottom
This smallholding is a perfect illustration of an the fertile valley bottom. I walked with friends on a 10km circuit with 500 metres of ascent. Simon came along with his measuring stick as he continues his doctoral research on Catalan Romanesque churches. We had a break at Llugols and walked on through the odd shady grove and flower meadow, over a packhorse bridge near to which a few horses were being watered and then back to the pretty village of Conat. A Flickr set is here.
