Light on shutters

We enjoyed a pleasant housewarming lunch with friends in the hills above Le Boulou. The rain held off for lunch but not for the planned swim afterwards. We left to drive on to Arles and strolled around the town in the failing light. The old buildings and squares held out a promise for a more thorough visit tomorrow or Friday. We also intend to visit the Camargue with its bulls, horses, salt, rice paddies and bird life.
