NIMBY
Few things can seem as summery as a yellow field of buttercups swaying in the breeze. I freely admit that they put a smile on my face whenever I see them...in someone else's field. In the garden I seem to be forever pulling this intrusive plant out of borders and displays - it strangles the other plants around it and seems to spread like wild fire. As I'm wheeling a barrow full of them down to the fire I can look up and see acres of shining yellow over the wall - I sometimes feel like a little Dutch boy...
