Spent a delightful evening in the company of Colin MacLean. He showed me some shots of his recent holiday and I concluded he is photographer of considerable talent and skill. I also learned about aperture priority, found that my tripod was even more versatile than I thought and took a picture at very low levels. I also learned that plants move.

Col;in gave a demo of Lightroom and we ended up talking about the forthcoming referendum. plenty of time to make up my mind on that one and so much information around. And yet so little.
