Popped poppy

It was an opportunity to put yesterday's learning into action. A drizzly evening and a poppy that had just popped (first seen on Saturday). Took load of shots and thought this represented my efforts best.

A couple of days ago I wouldn't have attempted this and I would have had no expectation of seeing the tiny hairs on the leaves. So that's good.

Just when you think you have figured something out, something else becomes evident. This photography stuff is likely to be 'work in progress' for some time.
