Sausage fingers

Embracing the fact the baby won't be here for a while and enjoying pampering myself! Today had a lie in after a pretty poor night's sleep while the fella went off to get closer to finishing the house. Am going to try to walk a few miles every day so today strolled to a local beauty salon for a much needed manicure and pedicure. Gone for gel polish on fingers so it hopefully will last a while but went for normal on toes just in case I need to have a c section as they'll need to take it off. As I may have mentioned my hands and feet are quite swollen so was nice to have a bit of pampering on them even if they just look like prettier sausages now!

Then tried out a new cafe for yet more tea and cake (that's 4 days in a row now!) - carrot cupcake this time - with a friend and her son. Was good to catch up and got some practice in by taking her son to the playground. He was another slide fan. Then back home for a chill before spending a lovely evening doing nothing with the fella.

Feeling much happier and not going to wish time away.
