Small boy, Big snow

School cancelled today. Strangely it wasn't announced on Radio 4 so Mr B headed off to school with the kids, only to have to come back again. So, a morning sledging instead along at the golf course.

I tell you though, something has gone wrong with sledging hill etiquette. People were dragging their sledges up the middle of the hill, instead of going up the edges to keep out of the way. Some adults were just standing having a chat ("Oh happy New Year" "Mwah, mwah" "How ARE you") in the middle of the slope right in front of the jump everyone was aiming for.

Tsk tsk.

Took some great shots of the local kids flying over the jump, but here instead is one of my little boy enjoying some peaceful snow time.

More family time tomorrow as the schools are closed again.
