At the Beach

The temperature was slightly chilly, but the walking and the bicycling, not to mention a jacket, kept us warm. This is a big stretch of beach, and today it was minus people.

So we enjoyed the sleepless ocean with our daughter, son-in-law, and three pooches.

Later in the afternoon, Mr. Fun and I drove to Morro Bay, the community just to the south of us, because when we'd been here a month ago we'd seen a used bicycle for sale in a second hand store. It was still available today, so we took it out for a test ride; then talked the store owner down $10.00, and drove back to our beach shack (cottage, house--whatever it is), with a new, well really used, bicycle for me. We're going to do some bicycling on the sand this weekend and this summer.
