4. 500 daisies

This was taken in the churchyard of St Stephens at Sparsholt. For my WW1 Commemoration series these ox-eye daisies should be poppies, but I haven't seen any yet. Maybe later in the year. There were great drifts of daisies amongst the gravestones and by the wall a long row of what looked like ransoms only they were pale pink instead of white. A garden variety, I guess, but very pretty.

Did I count the daisies? No! And here are just 3. But this is my 500th blip, hence the title. I never thought I'd get this far and wouldn't have without all the kindness and encouragement from you lovely fellow blippers. Enjoy a (hopefully) sunny Sunday and I'll catch up with you tonight xx
