landing gear down

A real lazy one today. Snuggled on the sofa with Charlie and his canine girlfriend Evie. The weather has been appalling with torrential rain and thunder and lightening directly above the house.

The weather picked up a little in the afternoon and on the way home from the shopping centre we called at Cleethorpes Boating Lake. Really surprising very few goslings or ducklings this year. There were so many last year. Serious questions do the water birds regulate their own population. RPB Tetney Marsha next to see the swans, same story here absolutely no cygnets. 22 swans but not one cygnet.

This shot w3as taken at Tetney Marshes, a greylag goose coming ion to land. I love it, would have been better if it had been facing me but then I probably wouldn't have got the details in the tail feathers.
