Bewildered

We have had a staff development day today.

We are always being challenged to use the latest technology in teaching and learning for young people.

It is a challenge we have to rise to because we are training young people today for jobs that do not yet exist.

We had a very good session on the use of IT in the classroom.

Mobile phones, tablets, Skype, QR codes, clouds; to list but a few. Lap tops and pc's were not mentioned. Well they just aren't portable enough are they?

I was very interested that primary school children easily embrace the latest digital technology. By the time they come to me 11 years later they accept it as second nature.

So to keep up and not be bewildered I think I need to visit primary schools.

Though maybe I'm not doing so bad. This blip was taken on a mobile phone, uploaded and edited on the same phone.
