Jinxed

I should have realised that me buying shorts for the hot weather would mean that it would finish! Sorry for jinxing it.

As predicted after yesterday's busyness I needed a chill out day especially as I didn't sleep too well - think eating later than normal and a huge burger at that didn't sit too well with me. Lots of swigs if gaviscon kinda sorted me out.

So very unbusy day with the key highlights things that happened being:
- the health visitor calling in to meet me and go through various things. She seemed nice and at least she's seen me before sleep deprivation makes me super moody!
- my mum taking her role as stand by birthing partner (the fella was in London for a meeting so had mum on standby in case labour kicked in!) seriously and checking in with me throughout the day
- ordering a bright rug for the nursery
- having incredibly tasty scrambled eggs and chorizo on toast for tea
- having a relaxing bath complete with Grazia and lots of bubbles - figure I'm not going to get much of an opportunity for these soon. Only slight hiccup was the fella falling asleep on the sofa so not being able to help me out the bath!! Took is slowly as was scared of slipping but did ok.

Really should do more with my time
