Today was a good day

Did so much today I forgot to take a picture so have fallen back on the almost finished nursery. I will try to do better tomorrow!

Chilled morning followed by trip into town. Bought some maternity shorts - I know I won't use them a huge amount but the weather has been so nice I need them and am sure will come in handy afterwards too while my belly goes down! - pillowcases to use as crib sheets and most importantly updated my personal phone so I can ignore my work phone from now on. Yay! Just need to sync it up with my iPad now.

Then had a lovely catch up with LadyPride in the garden of Jamie's Italian. We haven't had spent much time with just the 2 of us for ages so was great to catch up and put the world to rights over cake and ice cream. Assuming the baby doesn't come in the next few days will see her and family on Sunday too - is almost like we live in the same city again.

Fella came and picked me up - he'd left work early to get finger redressed by nurse - apparently it's healing well. He's got a kit to dress it at the weekend then has to go back next week. We then finished off making the nursery furniture - the cot was easy compared to the wardrobe and changing unit - and put things away. It needs a few finishing touches but is almost there. Yay!

Had a lovely evening out with our friends Jess n Jamie who are expecting their 3rd in July - lots of talk about babies and football over some fab burgers. Am gonna need a chilled day after today's busyness - but wouldn't change such a great day.
