Gull Love

This pair of gulls courts, mates and raises a brood on this rooftop every year across the alley from where I live. The procedure always involves a lot of squawking, but it's a delightful little glimpse of avian interaction. I love to watch them as they tend to the nest. As the babies grow up the squawking gets really loud when they're being fed. Mom and dad are very vigilant and attentive, and I suspect there are a couple of aunts and uncles involved too because it gets pretty busy over there.
