Busy Day

Betsy went to a party and Al and I went for a picnic in the park. We had a great time, telling each other stories about the people around us. Al told me an amazing story about an elderly couple sitting on a bench nearby. It involved fire, divorce, homelessness and a holiday in Denmark! It was very imaginative! We took it in turns to say what people might have in their pockets and why, where they were going, or why they looked happy or sad. We amused ourselves for a long time like this!

Al went for a sleepover and Betsy and I had a movie night. We watched Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, (loved it) and Paul, (seen it before but Betsy hadn't and she loved it). After they, though it was late, I had to introduce her to the first episode of Spaced, one of my favourite TV shows of all time. Luckily she thought it was brilliant.
