Hot Day at the Scrubs

That's a rare thing.

Took Charlie for an early walk - we were in the park by 7.15am. It was already warm and sunny, beautiful and quiet. We were out for an hour and a half.

Had an enormous breakfast with Betsy when she surfaced after our late night. Then the weekly shop (snore) then lunch, then softball.

It was beautiful and warm. Betsy created shade for her neck and face by wearing two hats to create a sort of deerstalker. I did the same by wearing an enormous floppy hat like Margot Leadbetter.

Al and Charlie spent the afternoon with my mum and had a great time.

Chris will be home tomorrow. We've all missed him a lot.
