It is I Youngie66 Ohh that's ok then Youngie you may pass, lol.
Well I was off today and had the pleasure of taking our Canadian guests Chantelle and Jarred out for the day so we headed off this morning and stopped off at Castle Dollar first before looking around Logie Kirk and cemetery close to the Wallace Monument which was next on our tour and then into Stirling for a daudle with some more sightseeing along with a bar lunch at the Drouthy Neebours Bar with a cool pint of Belhaven Best to go with my southern fried chicken burger and chunky chips then I had a 99 cone on Stirling Castle esplanade from the ice cream van to finish off the feast I also enjoyed the 245 step climb up onto the top of the Wallace Monument for a cracking 360 view on a glorious day today and when I got to the gift shop I bought a stained glass figure of Robert The Bruce Eh I hear you say when your visiting the Wallace Monument well a couple of years back I bought the stained glass Wallace one so I completed the set of both now and I also bought a metal shield with a blue saltire covering the front of the shield which I'm planning on having a big glass case with a tartan cover on the back of the case with the shield hanging from the tartan cover with the replica model of the Wallace Sword and some other Scottish memorabilia along with the 2 stained glass Scottish Patriots hanging in the case as well so look forward to the day it's done anyway what else happened today hmmm not a lot we drove down through Culross on the way home this evening stopping to take some snaps of the narrow cobbled streets and the waterfront view over the Forth before heading back home and working just before 3pm tomorrow I think it's 2 trips to Glasgow and off again sunday so that was it really anyway my blip today was at the Castle esplanade at Stirling Castle and this statue depicts a soldier from the Argyle & Southern Highlanders commemorating the South African War from Oct 1899 to May 1902 on a glorious day and I was well chuffed at how this turned out with the bird and plane coming into the shot with the sun behind the statue for nice effect anyway movie for the day is " Highlander 1986" Looks amazing as it grows See Ya
