Cuparman

Well today was a fairly quiet day with a trip to Newcastle followed by a trip to Dundee firstly it was nice to bump into fellow blipper WhiskyFoxtrot in the Waverly before my shift today but sorry I couldn't chat for long as I was also having a quick chat with another driver as well as going over to platform 8 to start up my train but will hopefully meet up at the next Edinburgh blipmeet anyway when I got to Newcastle I had my dinner at Pizza hut with an individual pepperoni pizza with half cheese and extra tomatoe sauce on the base anyway I had my drive to Dundee with a slight twist as another driver takes over at Dundee and it goes as an empty train back to Edinburgh with me traveling onboard but we have a wee fiddle ooh that sounds rather rude lol anyway I can get an earlier finish which after contacting my resource managers to ok the move my mate will travel down to Cupar Station and let me off and he will then take it to Dundee and I will get a Scotrail service back to Inverkeithing and head home from there getting home at half ten instead of twenty past midnight so that was a bonus anyway no long walks around canals for my blip today I do feel when you get the chance during working hours to take a break away from your work enviroment to destress no matter the job or tasks you do it's so nice to do that and just chill for a while anyway that was my day, hmmm now then as the title of my blip says Cuparman well I shall explain in my 25 years on the railway I have been involved in many many incidents but never attributed to me as my fault apart from this station is the preverbable pain in my butt as I have only had 3 kinda cock ups and they have all been at Cupar the 1st was forgetting to stop with an early morning service here but thankfully only 2 people onboard were traveling to Dundee and know one was waiting on the platform my excuse was that the two previous shifts I had driven empty trains to Dundee and slipped into an empty train mode again on the day I forgot to stop my punishment was a new yellow highlighter pen to mark out my station stops which I had shown my boss that I had done on the day in question lol oh well no harm done I also on the first day of a new timetable change stopped at Cupar when I wasn't booked to stop and caused a 1 minute delay haha then my 3rd one was that as I was running a couple of minutes late I left my braking to the last minute to try and make up a little time but as I headed into the platform my wheels slipped like mad so I hit the emergency brake causing the sanding bottles to deploy sand giving the passengers a nose rub on the seat in front lol but at least the train stopped on the platfrorm and I switched over to the resrve sand bottles and we were off and running again so as you can see this station haunts me anyway the title is that's what I was called by my workmates for a good while after all my tribulations here at Cupar I had visions of spinning around in a phone box and coming out in blue tights and red underpants urrggghhhh and a cape like this guy is wearing lol anyway that's enough boagglin today and movie for today is " Jinxed 1982 " See Ya
