Summer in the City

It's been another lovely day so I got off the bus early to have a walk and take some photos, but then I got an emergency phone call from my boss who'd forgotten that he should be in London for a conference! He was on his way to the station and wanted me to find out where he was supposed to be going, so I told him I was nearly at the office and would call him back, after stopping to take a photo of the Pavilion! It looked great against the blue sky, and I liked the multicoloured tops of the boys walking past - it really was like summer in the city so here's an earworm for you.

Anyway, once I got to the office I got the information he needed and called him back, and then I had a pretty relaxed day with not much to do - perfect for a Friday! At lunch time mum came into town on the bus and we had lunch at a little cafe in the Old Steine Gardens, and when I had to go back to work, mum went for a wander into town.

Tonight, we sat in the garden and had a bottle of fizz, but then I didn't feel like cooking, so mum and Alan had fish and chips and I got a curry. It's now time for Gogglebox so I'll wish you all a good weekend - I've started catching up with your diaries so if I've not got round to you yet, I soon will do!
