Under Attack!

It's been a good day today - I've been busy at work and I feel like I'm starting to get to grips with things. So the morning when quickly and at lunch time I met up with Barbs at the beach. We sat and had a sandwich and then bought an ice cream and went for a walk on the pier. All of a sudden I was attacked by a seagull who swooped down and almost landed on my head whilst trying to get my ice cream! It came from behind so I didn't see it coming and it certainly made me jump. Then within minutes it did it again, and we ended up having to take shelter while it watched us. When I'd finished the ice cream I threw the last of the cornet into the sea and it dived down to get it as you can see on Barb's blip.

After work, Alan and mum came to meet me and we went for a walk along the sea front. It was lovely and sunny and so many people were sat on the beach. The bars/cafes were busy too and we sat and had a drink before heading home. Mum and I waited by the big wheel while Alan went and got the car and I couldn't believe it, the seagulls were in attack mode again! They were flying very fast and low, only just missing our heads Then as I went take this photo of the wheel, one of them photo bombed my shot!
