Bird of Paradise

The builders woke us this morning, drilling holes in the wall below our room to erect a large pergola, at 7.30. With only an hour at lunch they continued till 6pm. Consequently we decided a walk around the town to the cooperativa and Eco farm would be a good idea. We bought some local olive oil, and our friends booked a session to learn how to look after their orange, lemon and olive groves. My leg was standing up well (!) so we continued to Fornalutz, reportedly the prettiest village in Mallorca. It was twee and touristy, so we wended our way back, stopping only for a vanilla and coffee icecream.

The afternoon I spent reading and pottering around the grounds. I don't think I'll be blipping anything other than this wonderful garden. I found this plant among the huge cacti in the cacti garden.
