Young gardener

We had both daughters and the four grandchildren, plus Ailie's daughter and her 3 year old son for the day. Mayhem. However we managed a bit of child labour in the garden. They got soil in their buckets, made holes and then planted the radish and carrot plants we got for them the other day at Highly Expensive, the local garden centre. Nathaniel is watering his in.

Lunch wasn't a great success. If I tell you Nathaniel learned a new word from Thomas - "Yucky".- you get the gist. There was a fair bit of showing off and bad behaviour. Thomas threw his fork on the floor, Nathaniel shouted "Drop" and then threw his spoon down. Ella told them off.

They've just gone and I'm having a cup of tea and more than one ginger biscuit.
