Well, we were taking a walk on a pier.......

Trying to get a shot of the moon. It was not happening for me. So there was this sailboat........

I am not a good sailor because I can't swim. You have to think and move fast. In a sailboat I can't. The whole time is spent worrying about falling in the water. It is almost paralyzing. Yes I know wear a life preserver.
What a concept. I do however it still means you get wet and do go in the water ugh.
The water is always cold in Maine.

This was after our gig. We sang at Andy's old port tavern in the old port last night. It was a fun but long gig. We did the first 45 minutes took a 15 minute break and then sang two hours straight.
That is hard on the legs. When you perform and you have a supportive captive audience ( yes people they were chained to their chars) entertaining them becomes the priority.
The last 15 minutes are the kicker. A very old man asked if we knew any country. At this point we had been singing for a while. We know country, we sing country and had performed about 3 country songs at that point. We meant Johnny Cash.
So we sang Ring of Fire. Our version of ring of fire.
That was not what he meant.

Either way it is now Friday Morning and I am at breakfast with my Dad and Husband.
