Friday night first concert.

I am back blipping. Please check out yesterday's blip and tomorrow's!

It was awesome. This is outside the Cathederal of St Luke on State Street in Portland. I have to say, the Episcopalians know how to do a church. It is beautiful inside and, the acoustics are absolutely perfect. The pews are very uncomfortable however. Being raised catholic I can honestly say, I felt no guilt in this church. Hmmmmm I may be on to something!
This concert is probably my favorite. I figure I started singing in this chorus in 1994. That's two concerts a year, I took 3 semesters off. That's 39 plus all the extras thrown in. Probably I have performed 50 times as part of Women in Harmony. This was my favorite.

Friday I wore my black boots and almost died. I think it's standing in one place for hours.
Anyway.........
It was moving and awesome and everything a concert should be. I still can't sing "Emily Remembers" without crying. ( the song written from the view of the best friend of a women with Alzheimer's ).
There were so many songs that literally hit me in the heart as we sung them.
