Tulip take II

I shot this on the way into chorus rehearsal. When I saw it I thought of the word supplication. It looked like it was praying. Well, it was outside of a church.

The spring semester concert is this weekend. Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. It will be sad to end the choral season until September however............we have the Sister Singers festival in Champaign-Urbana Illinois. 32 women from the state of Maine will be hopping into planes and heading across the country.
Four of us went on an excursion to Illinois last summer for the annual meeting. I think it was about a gazillion miles of driving. We entertained ourselves along the way. I behaved. well kind of.........let's just say there was a BurgerKing crown involved.
I think I told you once about the chicken and waffle song..... Tell me if I didn't.

When I joined this chorus 20 years ago I was given a pin that said " we are the chorus your mother warned you about"
I actually have met the most amazing group of women .
My band started from Women in Harmony.
I have to rest up this week so I have to go to bed. I do have Thursday through Monday off.
That will be great.
