Lake Martin, Mississipi Deltaa, Louisiana

Up at the crack of dawn to queue, yes queue, for a breakfast dance. Zydeco. This was followed by coffee in another cafe with a Cajun jam session featuring up to 30 musicians. Then spent the afternoon kayaking on this lake with alligators and thunderclaps, before the sun returned for a glorious sunset. The evening meal was freshly boiled crayfish accompanied by more live cajun music. We dipped on the next lot of live entertainment that was on offer.
