It has been said that golf ruins a good walk, but I have to confess to having really enjoyed myself today alongside the windswept Colwyn Bay with fabulous views over to Snowdonia, even though I did spend far too much of the day looking for little white things and coping with jokes such as "Your ball has gone as far right as the country did on Thursday".
