Room with a view

A very pleasant day today. There was no hint of rain and the wind had died down, so it felt warmer and still and calm.
We walked to Craster past Dunstanburgh Castle, stopping at the cliffs by the castle to watch these kittiwakes flying in and out. Look closely you’ll see pairs of them perched precariously where they’re nesting, in the slightest dents in the cliff face.
And we spotted two puffins bobbing up and down in the waves - a life first for me!
