Vaenna

Another morning with breakfast on the terrace. Lazed in the garden a bit in the later morning before heading down to the Lake for a very healthy lunch of tomatoes and mozzarella. The health side of lunch being slightly let down by a half litre of wine. Between us that is, not each.

We had decided to go over to Menaggio by boat in the afternoon. The photograph is taken as we are just about to stop briefly at Varenna. This is a popular village for marriages.

The ferry arrives at Menaggio about ten minutes after Varenna.Time for a stroll around the town and take a look at the Saturday afternoon tourist market. We do some household shopping before getting the bus back to Lenno.

Early evening supermarket trip and than back to the flat. After dinner I am afraid we did succumb to the inevitable, we watch the Eurovision songs, complain about most of them and then turn off before the tedium of the scoring.
