Another Day, Another Pub

Today I was meeting a friend in town and had occasion to be walking along one of the streets near the market. This pub lies down a side street and I have never been to it. I think it is part of a hotel, but that may be my imagination. What caught my attention was the brightly coloured Guinness advert. In fact perhaps I should have left the pub itself out of the photograph.

The day was cloudy in the morning with a hint of dampness in the air, but in the afternoon the skies cleared with blue sky once again.

The weekend starts here, though for many who have to work at weekends that does not mean time off.
