Dolmens and the bird reserve
It has been a long day. I went into Spain with the walking group and we visited the megalithic dolmens and menhirs and other structures of that period above the bay of Roses. It was a beautiful trail overlooking the sea. In the afternoon we went to the Aiguemolls wetland bird reserve. The storks were nesting and there were many other interesting wading birds to look at. I also saw quite a few egrets following the cattle presumably eating the flies around them in a symbiotic relationship. It was then a quick half an hour turnaround so as not to miss badminton. There are close up photos of the storks, the wading birds and the dolmens etc here.
