Bridge over calm waters

The bridge could well be out of a Monet painting.  It is a calm and tranquil spot where there is plenty of mottled shade and benches on which to while away a spare moment.  My spare moments are few and far between today.  The morning was spent mostly at the market having waved Will goodbye.  I had a word with the Councillor with responsibility for cultural events and he wants to combine with the church for a Nepal event.  The bar owner's father has just returned from a filming trip there and could show his film as part of a fund raiser.  This afternoon I shall be off to Perpignan for the Journée de l'Europe concert, nine choirs from all over Europe giving of their best.
