Three Centuries of Art
On my way home from a weekend in Belgium and I had around an hour to wait at St Pancras railway station after getting the Eurostar from Brussels before my train back to Leicester, so I had a quick wander around the slightly more quiet parts of the station. I find that it is an amazing place which has combined the old 1880's Midland train station with 21st Century style beautifully, and it was looking particularly stunning in the spring sunshine.
Why the subject title? Well in the picture we have the 19th Century Railway Shed, 2oth Century Eurostar trains all lined up, and then the current installation of 21st Century Public Art, a very large Tetris piece piece of stained glass.
