Water Lilly/Poppy

Went for a walk around the block this morning before it got too hot or it started raining, and I saw some nice flowers in the drainage channels. Most of Georgetown is below sea level, so drainage is very important, esepcially now that the rainy season has started, and also the sea wall defences are being overtopped by the spring tides. Unfortunately alot of the channels are choked with vegetation, which doesn't help with the drainage.

Some of the flowers are like a cross between water lillies and the seed head looks like a large poppy. Here is one in full bloom
