Meet the Morgans

Back-blip

It was a grumpy start to the day, for everyone. Amelie woke Isaac, who then started pulling my hair and slapping my back because he was annoyed I was lying on my front and he didn't have access to his morning milk. Chris pretended to carry on sleeping, bar the occasional grump.

We got up and had breakfast and got ready to go out. We went into Hitchin to pay a cheque into the bank and check they had changed our address properly. While we were there we also picked up a Dine In from M&S. Then we hopped back in the car and drove to a tesco in Baldock. Isaac had fallen asleep by this point so Chris sat in the car with him and Amelie came in with me to do the shop.

She was so well behaved and helpful and we got through the shop really quickly. I also picked up a little suitcase for our trip next weekend.

Next stop was home again for lunch. I then decided it would be a good idea to pop into the front garden to do some weeding. Three hours later I was finished and absolutely exhausted! I never knew gardening could be so tiring. The weeds at this bit were up to the window box (which was full too!) The roots were so deep I fell backwards pulling them out several times! I did lots of sweeping too and everything looks much better (even if I can hardly move!) Amelie came out for a bit to see all the snails I had found. Unfortunately we don't have a strimmer so the grass is still pretty wild for now.
