We were in a bit of a rush this morning to get to preschool on time. As it is a mile away we have to leave at least 20 minutes before unless I'm prepared to practically run up there. This morning I had to run, dragging poor Amelie with her coat half on out the door and up the road behind me. We made it in time and I walked home at a slightly more leisurely pace. Isaac fell asleep on the way and so I carefully extracted him from the mei tai when we got home and he snoozed on the sofa. I read my book and ate my breakfast. Miraculously he slept until it was time to leave to collect Amelie! He nibbled on a rice cake on the way in the buggy and thought it was hilarious, I'm not sure why but I laughed along with him!

This afternoon we had lunch and played. Nothing exciting but we are all quite tired from all our walking. Amelie received a package of hand me downs from Abi and she spent the afternoon changing outfits, trying everything on.

Both munchkins are asleep, I've just finished my book and we are catching up with The Great British Menu whilst eating dinner. Very much looking forward to this long weekend that stretches ahead of us...even if all it means is I get through my washing pile!
