Heading home.

Due to the mix up with my blip entries from Thursday (as it was a collage and I was unable to post till Friday due to lack of wifi and blip gave it a Friday date therefore I have in reality two Thursday entries!) so I have combined my Saturday and Sunday blips in this collage.

We stopped in Findhorn on the Moray coast (top left)to meet up with son Alex for a lovely outdoor lunch at the Crown and Anchor. He is at Kinloss just down the road with the 39 Air Support Regiment. Just enough time for a catch up and a chat about his mortgage options.

We then headed South to our rather posh overnight in St Andrew's in Fife. Our room ( bottom left) had rather unusual wallpaper with suitcases on it! Nice meal again and then after breakfast we took the Fife Coastal Tourist Route stopping at Elie (top right) where they were about to start an annual beach cricket match and were also holding a Scarecrow Festival this weekend ( bottom right), you can see Postman Pat here and a lazy workman in the back ground.

So we saw some of the gentler coasts of Scotland this weekend before hitting the motorways and heading home.

A lovely holiday with good weather 7 out of 8 days with rain only on the way up, in England, and little on the way back in the SE Scottish Borders.

Can't wait to go back!

I have posted a blip for Thursday if you wish to look.
