A day out in Bradford.

Don't go into Bradford too much but my friend Dot had a cake stall at Heaton Hill Family Fun Day. Too good to miss and she is raising money for brain tumor research from which her granddaughter died, so for a very good cause too.

It was a little chilly so we bought our requisite cakes and headed down the hill to Lister Park and Cartright Hall to look at the art work. Inside there was an Anish Kapur exhibit and outside these wire mesh figures of a rabbit and a bull.

By the time we came out the sun was shining and people were taking to the boats on the lake. We had a cup of tea and watched.

We are now at friend Liz's for tea and looking forward to eating some of those cakes.
