Pic des Tres Estelles

In the background you can just see the peak we will climb to tomorrow. It is over 2000 metres but we will not be walking there from the village but starting at the Col de Mantet which is already around 1700 metres. Rue des Jardins is a a little further up the village from us and as its name implies, it has pretty gardens and vegetable plots along it. From this point you can sit on a bench and see most of the views in all directions so it is a popular place to wander or sit on a bench and watch the world go by. It has been warm and sunny with hardly a cloud in the sky today so it was a good place to be. Tomorrow should be the same but a little cooler at that altitude.
