Pic des Tres Estelles

The sun shone and there were wildflowers aplenty, crocuses, gentians and many more alpines. We climbed all three of the peaks which are close together. The views were all across the eastern Pyrenean chain and down as far as the Mediterranean. There were prayer flags at the top and you could almost imagine yourself in Nepal. We saw the transhumance taking place on one of last week's walks. These horses were at nearly 2000 metres. There are some more views of the walk here.
