Basking.....

My garden comes 'alive' as the sun begins to set. All the dark corners are lit and I see plants I'd forgotten about, it's only for a small minute or two and then darkness descends again.

The last of today's sun on this fern caught my eye as I looked out the window, it looks so lush and green after all our rain and I guess in time it will turn brown before it begins to droop.

Mainly house jobs today, truck loads of washing on the line flapping in a brisk breeze, we saw the sun and gosh it felt good in a sheltered spot. Jack Frost may be paying a visit tonight, that will put an end to my lush looking fern.
