Desert Island Books

After a brief exchange of comments about Desert Island discs on Wednesday and the poacher's blip of a mad rabbit, I remembered that in addition to the discs, a Bible or another appropriate religious or philosophical work and Shakespeare, castaways also got to choose a third book to take with them.

This would be mine. I've lost count of the number of times I've read it over the past 40 years and I'm sure I'll read it several more times in the years to come.
