Lines on a Teapot

I've never taken part in MonoMonday and I don't intend to take part today. However, knowing that today's theme is 'lines' I thought I'd try and find something stripy or with lines on it for my blip today.

I found this old blue and white striped teapot at the back of a cupboard and thought 'that'll do', then I thought that as it was a blue and white picture I might as well make it a black and white picture and then I remembered colour-popping!

I'm pretty sure I got this teapot 'second hand' from my mother. She may even have inherited it from her own parents so I know it's quite old. This sort of thing was very common during the 1970s so I just assumed it was a mass produced, worthless piece of crockery. But they're going for about £50 on eBay! Why?!

So I've rescued it from the back of the cupboard and put it on display with my other teapot. Is there a collective noun for teapots?
