Copper

We strolled up to the Foot of the Walk and I was struck by the evening light shining through the new young leaves of the copper beech, which is now the most only beautiful thing in the New Kirkgate shopping "mall". It's amazing that it survived the re-development, albeit minus some of its lower branches. I'm sure the developers found it very inconvenient.
