Purple sprouting

A chilly day from which the haar never shifted. I didn't have to go outside, so didn't. Happily I had the ingredients to make one of my favourite recipes, since I went to Tatty Shaw's yesterday. They had the first Jersey Royals and UK asparagus in as well. Mmmm.

There was a lot of noise later in the afternoon from a multitude of police sirens - turns out Red heard it too and has kindly provided a link.
